Is there anything better than a freshly made bed? Well how about a freshly made bed that smells like lavender? *eyes twinkle* Not only does this linen spray smell heavenly, but it also promotes calmness and relaxation. Perfect for a good nights sleep!

Last week has been one of the most exhausting weeks I have experienced since our move. A part of my family came over to help with buying/transporting furniture, hanging up lights, digging in the garden and so on. I can now explain to you what each screw in the Ikea packages are for, because after assembling a bunch of Kallax, Brussali, Eket,.. I have become a master of Ikea furniture. In fact, that might just be a great addition to my cv. Natanja- owner of Home Baked Bliss, Ikea furniture assembler pro. #girlboss

During that crazy week of work, eat, sleep, repeat I also noticed how my sleep had lacked quality as I always tossed around in my bed not being able to shut off my mind. Thoughts of to-dos, budgets and color combination ideas for the apartment were so prominent that it was impossible to find rest. After just one week, I felt as though I needed a vacation. This reminded me of just how important it is to find rest and peace, even during stressful weeks, especially before going to bed.

So I have committed myself to getting back to a healthy evening routine. Whether it is drinking a calming tea, taking a bath – or smelling the wonderful scent of lavender on my bed sheets.

For this linen spray I used these glass spray bottles and I cut up an old coffee bag and laced it around the bottles. I secured it with glue and added a purple ribbon around it. You can add dried lavender into the bottle for visual effect, however it does lose its color rather quickly and also discolors your spray.

As great as this linen spray is for spraying on your pillows before going to bed, there are other ways to use this as well, eg. your curtains or sofa. Do keep in mind that essential oils should not be used around pets, so if you are a fellow pet owner, only spray it in areas they do not go to.

    Have a relaxing week 🙂

I have no patience for assembling Ikea furniture. One look at the instructions and I’m like OK I’m gonna go get myself a glass of wine now lol! This lavender linen spray is delightful! We recently visited a lavender farm and oh my goodness it was heavenly. I can understand the twinkling eyes haha 🙂 Have a lovely week!

Haha I never said there wasn’t any wine and maybe a bunch of curse words too 😉 A lavender farm sounds lovely! I’ll have to convince my husband to go sometime too. Have a great week as well! 🙂
