Description
A fragrant goats milks soap enriched with honey, easily made using a soap base.
Ingredients
- 600g goats milk soap base (1.3 lbs)
- 3 tablespoons creamed honey, such as Langnese Landhonig
- 1/4 teaspoon honey fragrance oil
- 12 drops yellow soap colouring
- molds of your choice, I used these
- rubbing alcohol
Instructions
- Cut the soap base into small chunks and melt over a double boiler*, stirring frequently.
- Add the honey, fragrance oil and soap colouring and stir until well combined.
- Quickly fill into the molds before the mixture hardens. Spray the top of the soap bars with rubbing alcohol to release any air bubbles. Let the soaps harden completely for about 4 hours before removing.
Notes
* Double boiler: Fill the bottom of a pot with water, bring to a simmer and place a heat-proof bowl on top of it.
