An immune-boosting tonic that can help fight cold and flu symptoms
- 720 ml warm water (3 cups)
- 120 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice (1/2 cup)
- 3–4 tablespoons raw honey
- 2,5 cm piece of fresh ginger* (1 inch)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried turmeric, optional
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.
- If desired, gently heat on the stovetop and enjoy warm.
*If you don’t have a high-power blender, grate the ginger beforehand.
